The Weber Family for generations have been a country music family. Mike and Paul both played in the Joe Firth Band and recorded extensively. In the early '80's Paul formed his band Top Hand and touried, Canada, USA and Europe. He himself has had several nominations in country music. In later years, the Commercial Tavern was known as the "home of country music" with Mike, Paul, Sue and their father Smokey Weber with Maryhill being a destination for many country music entertainers and country fans. Paul is known for his true and full country voice. The Weber Family has been a treasured country music family in Canada. At this show you will see the whole extended family on the Purple Hill Opry stage.

The bass player in the band at Paul's Commercial Tavern in Maryhill - Sue can sure hold her end up in lead singing and harmony and became a favorite of many Ontario country music fans.

Mike toured with Paul and the Joe Firth Band and has always been an intricate part of the Weber country music sound.

Certainly bonded with George Taylor the first time that they met and we are so proud to have him on the stage with his great fiddle tunes.. He always supplies a lot of action with his fiddle and became known as "Fiddler Sam Leitch" Welcome again to Purple Hill Sam!
